Dear Year 2021,
You are just beginning, and already you feel on your shoulders so many hopes, so many wishes and so many missions.
Breathe a little, and remember that you have 365 days to make your year, a good year for its passengers. Obviously, the sooner you can start, the better.
But tell yourself, young and beautiful year, that you can’t do worse than your eldest. All right, she didn’t leave you a train in very good condition, but I’m sure you’ll be able to fix it.
I wouldn’t complain too much about your sister, I was lucky enough to be part of the right car.
She was promising this year 2020, with her round figure and her dreams of unity. But maybe she went too fast, got too excited? And the axles gave way.
So, little year 2021, take it easy on the promises, stay calm and focus on the most important thing: the health and well-being of your passengers.
Sorry for the resolutions of money, or success, they will have to roll up their sleeves alone. Yes, focus on simply giving everyone a free and peaceful life, where family, friendships, love and caring will make your year even more beautiful.
If 2020 was afraid of crowds, I know that deep down, beneath your shy surroundings, you only dream of crowded concerts, crowded theater halls, or crowded terraces. So don’t hesitate, treat yourself.
Well I know you have work to do, beautiful and young year 2021, so I’ll leave you to your 364 days. Give yourself this first day to breathe, I’ll take care to bring a little love to those I know.
While waiting to see how you manage, I wish you a good trip, Dear Year 2021.
And wish all your passengers a happy new year.
